Links and Resources
Skateboards and skateboarding culture are one of the most exciting cultural phenomena of the past half century or so. Rest assured, you don’t need to be a pro skater, or an adolescent rebel (as some people liked to portray skateboarders at one point) to be a skateboarder. If you’re new to skateboarding, and interested in picking it up as a new hobby, a convenient and energy efficient means of transportation, or even learn awesome tricks and develop skateboarding into your art form, there are plenty of resources out there for you.
You can find more stuff on the history and evolution of skateboarding, skater gear, skateboarding tricks, and the skateboarding community, as well as skateboard shops online.
